“Survival Mode”
2022
“Survival Mode” featured digitally mediated acrylic sculptures derived from video game assets, composing discarded organic forms and bodily fragments into art historical still lifes. Drawing on my visit to the Chernobyl exclusion zone, the objects in this body of work were presented as specimens plucked from a bleak, future landscape and presented in a futuristic cabinet of curiosities.
